About the Author

Genevieve Votra is a mother of five children: twin girls and three boys; four of whom are living as they lost one of the twin daughters to alcoholism a few years ago. It was a heartache for all of them. While her children were grown, she went to work and eventually got into corrections. She was able to meet many different and interesting personalities in this environment. She began thinking about writing again while in this work place. She published a couple of books in 2005; a children’s book and an art book of interpretations for children, as well. That was her fun project while off work because of an injury. Now, she’s been retired for quite a while and decided she wants to write again.
